Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site is visited by over 200+ different species of birds throughout the year and this is your chance to see some of them! Whether you are a birder or just curious how to tell one bird from the other, this tour is for you.

Registered participants meet at the Headquarters Building the morning of March 17, 2018 at 8:00 am and the tour leaves promptly at 8:30 with an arrival time back at Headquarters Building at 4:30 pm.

For the month of March, the park will be offering two guided-only hikes, 10am and then again at 3pm to go down into the canyon to view pictographs (ancient drawings) on Wednesday through Sunday. Join us for a hike out to the El Paso Tin Mines, the remains of a mining operation that operated in the early 1900s. Reservations required; to reserve your spot, call the office at (915) 566-6441.
